In a parallel universe where humans and vegetables coexist, your “veggie buddy” determines your social rank. The elite citizens have exotic buddies, such as black truffles or hop shoots. As off Jeff? His veggie buddy is Spudrick the potato.

Every year the television broadcaster “ETV” hosts the nation’s biggest fighting show: the annual “Vegetable Duel”. Vegetables and their human buddies travel from every corner of the country to compete for fame and fortune in Las Veggies, the capital city. What does the winner get? A massive amount of prize money and an official seat among the elite.
